Not only do you get to enjoy spectacular vistas as you fly to the Grand Canyon in an airplane, but, once there, you will hop into a helicopter to get up close and personal with the north side of the Canyon!
You will be picked up at your Strip or downtown hotel on a free shuttle to the airport. Your airplane has oversized windows and high wings, that enable you to get a magnificent view of Las Vegas, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, the mighty Colorado River, and the awe inspiring Grand Canyon. The accompanying aerial narration is offered in a multitude of languages.
When you arrive at the South Rim, you will be taken to the helicopter terminal and be whisked away for a 30 minute flight over the North Canyon.
After the helicopter ride, you will climb aboard a motor coach for a two hour ground tour of the Grand Canyon. You will have plenty of opportunity to check out the views, as well as shop for souvenirs and take photographs. There is a free lunch included.
Travel time from hotel to hotel is approximately eight hours, with a flight time of about 1 1/4 hours each way.
